Abstracts

• Olli Martio: Rotation control.
  For an arbitrary small å > 0 a (1 + å)-bilipschitz mapping f can wind around a point xo infinitely many times. The mapping f then cannot be differentiable at xo. We consider conditions that control the rotation of f at xo; the mapping f can be more general than a bilipschitz mapping. Infinitesimal space of f at xo and integral conditions on various stress indicators of f provide methods to show that f is differentiable at xo. Volume preserving mappings play a special role in these methods.
